GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

RATES & PRICES

1.1 - All rates are quoted in Malaysia Ringgit (MYR/RM), unless stated otherwise.

1.2 - All rate(s) and price(s) quoted and/or published is/are subject to be reviewed and

         amended immediately without prior notice in line with the amendment made by the

         providers, such as but not limited to Hoteliers, Ground Operators and others.

 

BOOKING PROCEDURES - ADVANCED BOOKING

2.1.1 - Inquiries and reservation must be in writing and should be made through our office

             in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

2.1.2 - DEPOSIT: A 50% of the total package amount is required upon confirmation of  

            reservation in booking.

2.1.3 - BALANCE: 21 days in full settlement of payment is requiring before date of

            arrival/departure.

2.1.4 - Failure of full settlemet in payment is subject to cancellation without prior notice.

2.1.5 - LATE BOOKING: Subject to availability of accommodation, transportation and

            ground tour and following with full settlement of payment before check in/arrival.

            Failure of full settlement of payment considered as no booking made.

2.1.6 - EARLY BIRD PACKAGES: Deposit and / or full payment are NON-REFUNDABLE

2.1.7 - NO SHOW CASES: Deposit and / or full payment are NON-REFUNDABLE

 

BOOKING PROCEDURE - URGENT BOOKING

2.2.1 - Inquiries and reservation must be in writing and should be made through our office

            in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

2.2.2 - For bookings made between 21 days to 1 day before departure or arrival.

2.2.3 - Applicable for Low, Shoulder, Peak, Super Peak Season and All Major Events in

            Malaysia.

2.2.4 - Full payment is required upon booking confirmation and NON-REFUNDABLE after

            payment made.

 

DETAILS OF SERVICE REQUIREMENTS

In order to handle of your reservation efficiently, please provide details as following:

3.1 - Date of arrival and departures & flights details.

3.2 - Number of people.

3.3 - Passport & Visa copy (For International Traveler Only).

3.4 - Number of room and room type.

3.5 - Full name of guest and age of children (if any).

3.6 - Sightseeing / transfer and language requirement.

 

OUR SERVICE FEE

AGENCY COLLECTION FEE

4.1 - RM 15.00 - RM 30.00 per person For FIT Malaysian Residence

 

GOOD AND SERVICE TAX (GST)

4.2 - RM 30.00 per person for FIT - ASEAN Country Traveler

4.3 - RM 50.00 per person for FIT International Traveler

Service fee to be collecting upon booking confirmed by issueing and processing for FIT or GIT Confirmation Form for pax/s reference.

FAMILY POLICY

Unless specificed in the tariff, a child under the age of 12 years occupying the same room as his/her parents and using existing bedding is usually accommodation free of charge, except where a child supplement or extra bed and mattress is stated. In the case of tours and excursions, child rate apply at 85 - 75% from adults package rates for tour inclusive of accommodation, tour and meals. The child rate is based on the child sharing a rooms with two (2) adults. An extra bed will be provided for the child. Child rate without extra bed or mattress will be charge as 50% less from adults rates with inclusions of package offers. An infant is defined as an individual up to 2 yeras of age. Rate for infant is as Free Of Charge unless service of flight as insurance of infant.   

 

HOTEL & LUGGAGE

HOTEL

5.1 - Rooms are assigned by the hotels and resorts are based on ROH (run of house)

         unless otherwise indicated of booking made.

5.2 - To present RM TRAVEL & TOURS SDN. BHD. original hotel or e-hotel voucher upon  

         check in. 

5.3 - Standard Check In Time: 1400 - 1500 hours 

         Standard Check Out Time: 1200 hours 

5.4 - Early Check In: Subject to hotels and resorts room availability ortherwise consider

         as one day use charge. 

         Late Check Out: Subject to hotels and resorts management approval upon request. 

 

LUGGAGE

As a general rules, only one luggage and one hand-carry allow for each person

guest/s. RM TRAVEL & TOURS SDN. BHD. reserve the right to collect additional cost directly from the client's for transportation services incurred for excess luggage.

 

MODE OF PAYMENT

6.1 - Cash terms.

6.2 - Online banking.

6.3 - Company's Cheque (For Malaysia Corporate Account & Local Residence Only).

6.4 - Credit Card - VISA, Master, Amex Card and all major card.

6.5 - Telegraphic Transfer (TT) or Bank Draft  - Banking fee charge to be borne by pax/s

6.6 - Online Credit Card (Subect to 4% banking fee surcharge) - VISA, Master & Amex.

NOTE: RM Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. do not except personal current cheque for payment

           for all package price.

CANCELLATION CHARGES & REFUNDS

RM TRAVEL & TOURS SDN BHD must be notified in writing of any cancellation by fax or electronic mail direct to us and cancellation charges will be leived as following.  

7.1 - Between 180 days ot 120 days: 25% from total package price.

7.2 - Between 119 days to 22 days: 30% from total package price.

7.3 - Between 21 days to 14 days: 50% from total package price.

7.4 - Between 13 days to 10 days: 80% from total package price.

7.5 - Between 9 days and NO SHOW: 100% from total package price

7.6 - NO Show Cases: NON-REFUNDABLE on full package price paid for any no show case.

7.7 - Claims on refund will be paid after 90 days from the date of cancellation made.

 

TOUR CANCELLATION  & DISCLAIMS LIABILITY

Before or after start of tour, no refund in full or in part will be given for services included in the program that are not utilized. For certain low seasons on promotional periods or Early Bird Packages, RM Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd are reserved the right to change, amend or re schedule the pogram based on our hotel contractual rates between ground agent or hotel and resort.

 

EXCLUDED IN TOUR PACKAGE

8.1 - Flight tickets, airport tax, land transfer for not stated in travel itinerary,

         porter fee, hotels and local Tour Guide - Unless Stated

8.2 - Food & Beverages not stated, entrance fee not stated, telephone and cable, 

         travel insurance, excess baggage fees and items not stated in travel

         itinerary or package price - Unless Stated

 

LIABILITY & RESPONSIBILITES

RM TRAVEL & TOURS SDN. BHD. act as agents for transportation companies, hotels, car rentals and all other contractors/suppliers and finalizes all arrangements upon the expressed conditions that it shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, disaster or inadvertent errors in booking, delays generally or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of any defect in any vehicle, vessel or aircraft or through the acts of defaults, of any company or person engaged in conveying or accommodating passengers or in the carrying out of arrangements of the ground content, tours or otherwise in connection with its operations. To protect you and RM TRAVEL & TOURS SDN. BHD., we require all guest/s to be adequately insured against the above mentioned liabilities.

RM TRAVEL & TOURS SDN. BHD. reserves the right to alter the itineraries and/or substitute services with or without prior notice as a result of circumstances beyond our control or if it is deemed to be in the best interests of all parties concerned.

RM TRAVEL & TOURS SDN. BHD. reserves the right to alter, amend, delete or add any provisions in this general terms and conditions without prior notice.

 

Act of commitments such as but not limited to; deposit payment, full settlement and others, is an act of acceptance to the respective General Terms & Conditions as well as the price quoted and/or published via on-line & off-line medium be it in written and/or verbal.
